How to install BeyondCompare on Fedora 14 64-bit
To install the Linux version of Beyond Compare on fedora 14 64-bit do this. it worked for me.
sudo yum install qt3.i686 compat-libstdc++-33.i686
Get the latest BC3 available from Scooter Software as a tgz.
Unzip the file.
cd to the top directory and then use
sudo ./install.sh
or
./install.sh --prefix=/install/bc/here/
The bin and lib directories will be create under the one specified as the --prefix value
Start comparing and merging away.
